2025 CAPITAL OUTLAY

When it came to our $2.5 million in our district’s funds, here’s how we spent it:

Investing in our children's future: $550,000 to enhance educational facilities across our community, including funding for technology upgrades, facility improvements, and equipment purchases at various APS elementary and high schools, as well as support for specialized technical training at CNM.

Enhancing our community spaces: Improving and expanding our parks and recreational areas like the Albuquerque Four Hills Village Bicycle Loop, the Manzano Mesa Pickleball courts, and the Tueras Arroyo Biozone Educational Facility.

Maintaining and upgrading essential services: Investing in infrastructure and utility projects, including improvements to street lighting on Central Avenue, enhancements at the Anderson Abruzzo Balloon Museum, and critical water system upgrades in the Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority.

Supporting first responders & ensuring public safety: Upgrading technology at the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office, equipment for the Shiprock Command Post, and support for the Albuquerque Fire Department.

Investing in our community and cultural heritage: $1,300,000 to invest in various community and cultural projects, including funding for the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, the Bernalillo County Youth Service Center, the Animal Care Resource Center, and the Albuquerque Sports & Cultural Museum, as well as support for broadcast equipment and innovation hubs.
